The Blanks School was a one-room school house located approximately six miles southwest of Whitewright. It was established in 1892 and was on what is now Blanks Road from Kentuckytown to Pilot Grove. The school was also know as "Little Rock School".

The school had one teacher instructing grades one through eight. Some teachers remembered were:
  • Bertha Pruett Brown
  • Grace Henderson Sloan
  • Vera Holland Biggerstaff
  • Sally Cherry
  • Nell Blanks Leath
  • Gertrude Giles

Some trustees remembered were:
  • Jesse Blanks
  • Dee Blanks
  • Earl Fields
  • Sims Wortham

Blanks School was consolidated with Whitewright School. The school building was sold and remodeled
for a home.
