Thursday, December 14, 1972 pg. 6 Funeral services for Charles W. Kelicher, 65, were held December 7 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Ross-Langham Funeral Home. Burial was in the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Alice, Texas. Mr. Kelicher was born December 7, 1906 in Sherman, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Kelicher of that city. He married the former Margaret Barbee, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom E. Barbee of Whitewright. Graduated from Austin College in 1931, he was an outstanding athlete, and was inducted into the Austin College Athletic Hall of Fame this fall. He had farming interests in both South and West Texas areas in which he was actively engaged until his death. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Prestly of Robstown; a son, Joe Kelicher of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Alma Callig of McKinney; and two grandchildren.
