 Located
on Hillcrest Drive, Sherwood Shores, near Gordonville, Texas, the
Sherwood Shores Presbyterian Chapel was organized in April 1962.
Ground breaking ceremonies were held on April 22, 1962. The
Chapel was a mission church under the care of the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Gainesville, Texas. The land was purchased by the Westminister Presbyterian Church. The building committee included D. J. Murphy, Irb Bateman and W. H. Frasher. Rev.
