October 9, 1897 New Pastor Arrived. Sherman, Tex., Oct. 8. - Rev. W. R. Grofton, who is to succeed Rev. H. W. Sears as pastor of the Cherry Street Cumberland Presbyterian church arrived to-day from Jackson, Tenn. Mr. Sears succeeded Mr. Grofton at Jackson and vice versa. Mr. Grofton will preach his opening sermon to his new flock next Sunday.
