First Methodist Episcopal Church Whitesboro, Texas A
square frame building built in 1877 was the meeting place for the First
Methodist Episcopal Church South. A pulpit and alcove for the choir
were added later and the church was dedicated by Bishop Charles G.
Calloway in 1888.
