First Congregational Church Denison, Texas The Congregational Church
was another early-day worship center. It was built at the southwest
corner of Woodard Street and Tone Avenue. The church welcomed all
denominations to use the building when needed. Many congregations met
at the church over the year it was in operation. The building was torn
down in the early 1940s.
