DENISON - Funeral services for Willie Howard Clark, 82, of Denison will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 9 at Waldo Funeral Home. Everett Hodge of Central Church of Christ will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Mr. Clark passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his home. Pallbearers will be Will Clark Jr., Ron Clark, Jerry Clark, Steve Clark, Vincent Shores and Randy Wagner.

Willie was born Dec. 21, 1927 in Goree to Roscoe Howard and Ellen Lydia (Hayes) Clark. He married Catherine Ollson
Nov. 11, 1949 and she preceded him in death Feb. 16, 2007. He was a World War II veteran and while in the Army he
served in Germany and Japan. He worked for the City of Sherman and City of Whitesboro before retiring.

He was the best hard working, loving parent and grand parent a family could have. He loved to garden, rebuild lawn mowers and watch the old westerns on television. He attended Central Church of Christ in Denison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, David Clark; son-in-law, Michael Shores; brothers-in-law, Bill Thompson, Carl James and Marion Morris. Willie is survived by his sons, Will Clark Jr. of South Carolina, Ron Clark of
North Carolina, Jerry Clark of California and Steve Clark of Denison; daughter, Carole Wagner and husband Randy of Denison; sisters, Ole Mae Morris, Ruby James and Jewel Thompson, all of Sherman; four grandchildren, Vincent Shores, Grey Shores, Brian Clark and Heather Clark.

The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Waldo Funeral Home.
