Ella Marie Odom, 82, slipped peacefully away into the arms of Jesus Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Whitesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Odom was born June 28, 1935, in Panther Creek, West Virginia, the daughter of Linkus and Rebecca Roberts Rowe.  For many years she was a grocery clerk for Tom Thumb in Sherman.  Ella loved the Lord and was a member of Victory Life Church.  She devoted her life to faithfully serving her Lord and her family.  Being a brave, resourceful and courageous woman, she was the mother of six girls.  Ella gave of herself and her love unconditionally as a daughter, mother, sister and grandmother.  She was the sunshine in the life of many people.
Mrs. Odom leaves behind her beloved family - daughters, Pamela D. Lynch and husband, Johnny, of Sherman; Penny D. Luce of Grapeland, Texas; daughter, Mary C. Belair and husband, Tim, of Johnston, Rhode Island; Sherry Lynch and husband, Ronny, of Sherman; and Sheila Robbins and husband, Jim, of Sherman; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandhildren; siblings, Lois Blouch of Bradenton, Florida; Cecil Rowe and Eddie Rowe, both of of Beckley, West Virginia; Betty of Trenton, New Jersey; Clayton Rowe of Millville, New Jersey; Bernice and Virginia, both of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; Roy of Bridgeton, New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Rose, Roy Murphy McCombs, and Paul Gene Odom; daughter, Deborah Lynn Noa; parents; brothers, Donny Rowe and Carl Rowe; sister, Patsy Rowe; nephew, Jeff Webber; and great-granddaughter, Ashly McCombs.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 30, 2018 at Friendship Cemetery with Pastor Terry Brown officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
