Louise Williams Westbrook, 91, of Sherman, passed away on Feb. 9, 2011. Dannel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. in Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Thomas Peel
of First United Methodist Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday.


Louise was born in Trenton on Feb. 12, 1919 to Henry and Cora (Pruitt) Williams. After graduating from Trenton High School, she attended North Texas State Teachers College in Denton. She worked as an administrator in Dr. Essin's office. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She married Lt. Robert W. Haake in 1943, and he was killed in action while serving in the U.S. Air Force in India. Her second marriage was to Frank Westbrook in 1948, and they resided in Sherman.

Preceding Louise in death were her parents; husband, Frank; brothers, Weldon Williams, H.C. Williams, Morris Williams
and Grady Williams; and sisters, Alva Reedy, Oleta Noel, Juanita Barrett, Helen Farris and Wanda Williams She is survived by a son, Bryan Westbrook of Sherman; a daughter, Bobbie Lagow of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Micale Crawford and husband Neal, Chrissy Bettis and husband Craig, and Robert Lagow and wife Carrie; and four great-grandchildren, Mekenna, William and Caelan Crawford and Skyleigh Lagow.
