One Wednesday, Feb 23, 2011, Connie Sue Wallowing-Bull, 59, of Sherman passed away. Dannel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Services will be held at 10 am on Monday, Feb 28, at Parkview Church of Christ with Pastor Weldon Stoker officiating.
Connie was born may 26, 1951 to John W. & S. Ruth Dwight Caple in Pueblo, Colo. She graduated from Sherman High School in 1969. She worked in child care and as a librarian's assistant.
Connie was an active member of the Parkview Church of Christ in Sherman. She especially enjoyed attending Bible Studies and loved the people of the church. Near and dear to Connie's heart were the pets she had over the years. She loved her cats and dogs, as well as those of family and friends. Connie grew up in a military family and spent her childhood in many places; among those were Colorado, Missouri, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, Washington, Texas and Germany.
Connie was an avid reader and loved books and libraries. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her parents; sons, Daniel Wallowing-Bull of Sherman and Andrew Crosby of Garland; daughters, Tamara Newcombe of Pawtucket, R.I., and Christian Finch of Sherman; brother John Caple and wife Susan of Arvada, Colo.; Sister , Kathy Gunn and husband Robert of Howe; nieces, Michelle Armstrong and Marjorie Jordon, nephews, Matthew Caple and Jesse Caple and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Armstrong, James Jordan, Jamie Jordan, Allen Hust, Chris Reynolds, and Barry Billingsby.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Parkview Church of Christ, 815 S. Dewey, Sherman, Texas 75090.
