SHERMAN - Services for Jean Meek, 75, of Sherman will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Pilgrim Nazarene Church. Rev. Mark Mullins and Rev. E. B. Meek of Bible Missionary Church of Greenville and Rev. David Taylor, Chaplain of Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ will officiate. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Larry Monroe, Charles Meek, Bill Hath, Keith Meek, Eddy Meek and Johnny Meek. Waldo Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Meek was born March 23, 1935 in Sherman to William Austin and Willie Estilene (Garrett) Jaco. She married William H. Meek on February 20, 1953 in Sherman. Jean was a member of the Bible Missionary Church of Greenville.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra Lynn; granddaughter, Angel; brothers, Bill and Bobby Jaco. She is survived by her husband; son, Joel David Meek of Euless; daughters, Karen Bateman and husband Jim of Tull and Linda Callenius and husband Jim of Spring Branch; brother, Rev. Dalton Jaco of Whitewright; sister, Betty Killgo of Sherman; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 17 at Waldo Funeral Home.
Memorial may be made to the Building Fund of Bible Missionary Church, 2804 Templeton, Greenville, Texas 75401.
