Obituary, Sherman, TX, May 1943:
Funeral services for Dannie Lee Flowers, infant son of Mr and Mrs. H. E. Flowers, Rt 4, who died at 6:15 pm at a local hospital were held Tuesday at 4 pm at the Talley Chapel with Rev. L. Evans officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Surviving are his parents, a brother, Kenneth Edward Flowers ; a sister, Delores Ann Flowers and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Flowers and M. P.  Ham, all of Sherman.

KAUFMAN - Graveside services for Kenneth Edward Flowers, 72, of Kaufman and formerly of Sherman, will be held at
2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Friendship Cemetery in Sherman. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.

He died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital.
Surviving are his sons, Carl Edward Flowers and Wesley Ray Walker, both of Kaufman; daughter, Felicia Bolinger of Kaufman; sister, Delores Binkley of Sherman; and six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home until time of service time.

Kenneth Edward Flowers of Kaufman, 72 year-old former Sherman resident, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at Friendship Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born Nov. 25, 1936 in Sherman, the son of Hershell Flowers and Arietta Hamm Flowers. He attended Sherman schools and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Disabled in recent years, he had been a self-employed truck driver in the Dallas area for several years before moving to Kaufman five years ago.
He is survived by a daughter, Felicia Bolinger and husband Bill of Kaufman; sons, Carl Edward Flowers and wife Peggy
and Wesley Ray Walker, all of Kaufman; sister, Delores Binkley of Sherman; six grandchildren, Felicia Rene Flowers, Melissa Jo Haywood, Ashley Munns, Courtney Cook, Sarah McCullough and Aron Flowers; also 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Edward Daniel Flowers, and a brother, Larry Flowers.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Wednesday until shortly before service time at Waldo Funeral Home.
