  Sam Camacho was born on January 23, 1948 in McQueeney, Texas, son of Federuco and Francisca Urias Camacho. He will be remembed by so many as a kind, spirit-led man who loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. Our beloved Sam went home to be with our Lord and savior peacefully on October 31, 2022. Sam was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Antonia Camacho; brother, Federico Camacho; sister, Patricia Quinonez; son, Danny Camacho; and nephews, Amos Camacho and Jesse Camacho. Sam is survived by 2 brothers, Abel and Adan Camacho; 1 sister, Neumi Medina; sons, Sammy, Ezekiel and Mitchell Camacho; and daugher Sarah Scott; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 10 nephews and 4 nieces. Sam gave his life to the Lord 15 years ago and there was nothing more important to him than to sing his praises and preach his word. He was a faithful servant of God and his most fervent prayer was that all his loved ones would accept the Lord as their Savior. A funeral service was held Saturday morning at Latter Rain Revival Center Church of God in Christ, Sherman. Burial was at Friendship Cemetery in Sherman.
