   
 He was the son of Dr. William Herbert Brown and Nalda Lowry Brown.
He graduated from Denison High School in 1974, and Texas A&M University in 1978 with a degree in Civil Engineering and he was a member of Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi fraternities. He later earned his Masters Degree from University of Texas at Arlington in 1988 where he was a member of Beta Gamma Signa fraternity. He was employed with Jacobs Engineering. He married Wei (Lucy) We in Plano, May 10, 2000. He is survived by his wife; daughter Caitlyn; sons Nash and Alexander Ryan and their mother Natalie, all of Plano; father, Dr. W.H. Brown of Denison; brothers Alan Brown of Denison and Brian Brown of Houston; sister Cissy brown of Houston; nephew Chris Brown of Denison; niece Lindsay Willeford of Sherman; Lucy's mother Lu Feng Yuan; Lucy's brother Wie Qiu Jing and their daughter Wu Yu Ming, all of Beijing, China.
