JUDGE J. D. YOCUM DEAD
AFTER 29 YEARS OF SERVICE

Denison, Texas, June 15 - Funeral services for Judge J. D. Yocum of this city, who died late Saturday afternoon at
his home at the age of 77 years, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Judge Yocum had lived for 34 years in
Denison, 29 of which had been spent as an employe of the City of Denison. He had served as city judge for seven
years, and for thirteen years prior was city secretary. He enjoyed the best of health until a few weeks ago. His wife
and a son and a daughter survive.
