COTTON MILL YOUTH IS KILLED SUNDAY IN AUTO WRECK
Alfred Lee Raines, 13-year-old school boy and resident of the Cotton Mill community, was instantly killed when his automobile collided with a school bus about 8 o'clock Sunday night near Detroit, Texas.
The youth was born in Hopkins county, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. B.A. Raines on September 4, 1924, later moving with family to Denison.
Surviving are his parents, 3 brothers, J.W., Henry and Therman Raines and a sister, Opal, all of Denison.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Cotton Mill with Rev. W.A. Beher officiating. Interment will be at Fairview with Short-Murray directing.
