Larry G. Long, age 77, met Jesus on March 18, 2023, at his home in Denison, Tx. Larry was born on October 2, 1945, in Panama to Billy Joe and Maxine Long. He graduated high school in Thailand. He joined the United States Naval Service and served in Vietnam from 1967-1969. He met Pamela Sue Taylor and they were married on October 17, 1970. They were blessed with three children. Larry and his father opened Long Realty in 1971. He became a real estate appraiser and opened Long and Associates in 1984. He retired in 2018 due to his health.

Larry is survived by his wife, Pam Long, son Craig Long of Denison and his wife, Katie and children Jonah, Abbey and Logan. Son Scott Long of Flower Mound, his wife Teri and their boys Jaxon and Kellan. Daughter Suellen Long of Denison and her son Jett. And daughter from his previous marriage, Kristi Long of Oregon. He is also survived by his sister Ree Murphy of Garland and her three children. And stepmother Pug Long of Denison and stepbrother Michael Birdsong of Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Long of Connecticut and father, B.J. Long of Denison. Larry will be greatly missed by many. Boomer Sooner!

Funeral service for Larry will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Park Avenue Church of Christ in Denison. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends will gather to visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Fisher Funeral Home.
