Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 16, in Sunnyside Baptist church for L. J. Lamb, 67, Dallas, formerly of Denison, with Rev. V.D. Price officiating.  Interment was in Fairview with Dudley Hughes of Dallas directing.
Lamb died suddenly Tuesday morning at a Dallas convalescent home where he had been living.
He was a Denison resident for 20 years, moving here around 1935.  Born in Fulton County, Arkansas, he was a carpenter
by trade and also worked for the Katy Railroad a short time while in Denison.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lola Hudson of Detroit, Michigan; 3 brothers, T.C. and W.I. Lamb, both of Denison; and H.S. Lamb of Dallas; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Lucy Davis of Caraway, Arkansas; and Mrs. Nettie Hutson.
