Carol Ellen Jwanouskos went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2022, at the age of 80 years old.

On May 14, 1942, Carol was born to Albert and Violet Schmidt in Salem, South Dakota. She married the love of her life, Al, on August 8, 1964. Carol was talented in many areas as a mother, wife, and business partner. She loved God, ministry, her family, and friends. She was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church. Carol will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol is survived by her son, Joe, daughter-in-law, Sonia, 2 grandchildren, Samantha, and Joseph, of Pottsboro: 3 siblings Joyce, Elvin, and Marlin.

She was preceded in death by her husband Al, mother, and father.

“He only takes the best. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, ‘come to me.’ With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away; Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.”

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 P.M., at Fisher Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Fairview Chapel. 1501, HWY 91-N., Denison, with Reverend Raymond England officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
