 Died
Wednesday, August 22, 1900, at Richmond, Mo., Mrs. Phene S. Hughes,
wife of Mr. Chas. B. Hughes and daughter of Mrs. Mary J. Scholl, aged
43 years. The remains arrived here Friday and the funeral took place
from the residence of Mr. W. B. Simpson, No. 1031 west Morton street.
The interment was at the Fairview cemetery, where her brother, Rex,
sleeps. Mort and Charley, brothers of the deceased, were present.
