Funeral services for Sandy Frame, 72, Katy brakeman, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Saturday afternoon with Rev. Ed Bayless, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating.  Interment was in Fairview cemetery.
Frame died at the Katy Employees hospital Thursday evening after a 4 and a half months of illness.  He had been in the hospital for the past 2 months.  He was a native of Nova Scotia, and came to Denison 66 years ago.  The Frame home is at 1309 W. Chestnut.
Frame retired in 1950 after 52 years continuous service with the Katy railroad.  He started his career as a messenger boy, was a caller for 5 years, then spent the remainder of his time until his retirement as a brakeman.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Valentine Frame, whom he married in Denison in 1904; a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Echols of
Ft. Worth; 2 granddaughters, Mrs. Dale Muse of
Lubbock and Ginger Echols; and a grandson, Gene Echols.
