Thomas Howard Clark, 58, of Hendrix, Okla., surrounded by his loving family, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 at his residence in Hendrix, Okla. Mr. Clark was born April 10, 1952 in Odessa to Leslie Franklin Clark and Ruby Jones Clark. He was married to Betty on May 27, 1973 in Denison. He retired in 1985 after working as a mechanic for Sher-Den Honda. He attended Victory Life Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home, daughter, Valarie J. Clark of Hendrix, Okla.; son, Thomas Lee Clark of Pottsboro; mother, Ruby Clark of Whitewright; sisters, Shirley Bumpass of Denison, Joyce Watson of Howe, Bobbie Gordon of Cartwright, Okla., and Lucinda DeLong of Hendrix, Okla.; brothers, George Clark of Hendrix, Okla., Mark Clark of Denison, and John Clark of McKinney; grandchildren, Devyn Roberts, Hunter Clark, and Lydia Clark; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Clark.
Family visitation will be held from 6 -8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 at American Funeral Service, 107 N Burney, Colbert, Okla. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel, Denison. Bro. Bob Stevens will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be John Clark, Toby Clark, Mark Clark, Dempsey Bumpass, Thomas Clark, Ed DeLong and Randy Reynolds.
