Denison, June 12 - After an illness of 18 months, C.D. Ansley, a pioneer resident of Denison, died Saturday at 11:30 o'clock of Bright's Disease, aged 59 years.  Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon and the interment was made at Fairview cemetery.
The decedent was born in Georgia and he removed to Denison 40 years ago.  He has been engaged all of his life in photography and he conducted a studio for more than 25 years in the 500 block West Main street.
He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Sarah E. Ansley; and two sons, J.L. and J.S. Ansley of Denison.  Besides these he leaves
a mother, Mrs. G. Ansley, 3 miles west of Denison; 3
brothers, Sid Ansley of Sherman and R.R. and Will Ansley of El Paso; and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Prather of Stoneburg, Texas.

RESIDENT HERE ALL HER LIFE DIES SUNDAY
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Ansley, 78, a resident of Denison all her life, died Sunday at her home, 931 W. Crawford, following an illness of two years.
Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. today from George Shields chapel with Rev. James E. Spivey officiating.  Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, George Shields directing.
Deceased was born in 1861 as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Shannon and was reared and educated here.  She was a member of the Presbyterian church and was the widow of the late C.D. Ansley, pioneer Denison photographer whose shop was established for several years where the present Kraft-Phenix southwest division office is located.
Surviving are a son, J.S. Ansley of Denison; two brothers, W.S. of El Paso and J.D. Shannon of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. S.B. McHenry of Dallas; Mrs. John Collett of Sulphur, Oklahoma; Mrs. G.E. Knaur of Denison and Mrs. O.E. Looney of
Paduka, Texas.
