POTTSBORO – Ricky Lynn Durrett, 59, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his home in Pottsboro.
The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 State Hwy. 91, Denison.
Ricky was born July 30, 1952 in Jacksonville, Texas, the son of Jessie Durrett and Ruth Bolton. He was a Christian; a truck driver; owned and operated a restaurant; loved to hunt, fish and cook. He married Linda Clayton in Dallas, Texas on December 10, 1975.
He is survived by his wife Linda of Pottsboro; sons David Rogers of Tyler, Texas, Stephen Durrett of Pottsboro, Jessee Durrett and wife Krystal of Mead, Okla., Raymond Durrett of McKinney, Texas; daughter Julie Gomez and husband John of Gainesville, Texas; brothers Tony Durrett and wife Joyce of Emory, Texas, Danny Durrett and wife Lynda of Cash, Texas; sister Glenda McKinney; grandchildren Kelsey Durrett, Kendal Durrett, Dusty Badgett and Sincera Rogers.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St.
