POTTSBORO - Mark Matthew Lawlor passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at home in Pottsboro.
A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery Chapel with Deacon
Gary Vogel officiating. A luncheon will be held following the service at noon at the VFW Post 7873 in Pottsboro.

Surviving is his wife, Regina Lawlor; daughters, Angela Causey and Nikki Lawlor; brother, Patrick Lawlor; and three grandchildren.

Mark Matthew Lawlor fought a long and courageous battle against cancer. He left his family peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Pottsboro.
Mark was born June 19, 1942, in Fort Madison, Iowa. He proudly served his country with 21 years of active duty in the United States Air Force. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant and then gave another 20 years of civil service with the Department of Defense. Mark was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison, the Knights of Columbus Council 739 in Fort Madison, Iowa and the VFW, Post #7873 in Pottsboro. Mark was loved by everyone who met him. He will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, loving ways, and how he loved to make people laugh.
Mark leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Regina Lawlor; daughter, Angela Causey and husband, Chris and their children, Collin and Cameron Causey; his daughter, Nikki Lawlor and her daughter, Maddie Smoot; brother, Patrick Lawlor and wife, Miriam; brother-in-law, Warren Platt and cousin, Celence Coppage and her husband, Roger. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved so much. His nieces, Kelly Platt and Lisa Quick always held a special place in his heart.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
