Kay W. Erickson Cresswell
26 August 1937 - 23 May 2022

Ft. Worth - Kay Erickson Cresswell passed away peacefully May 23, 2022.  Funeral for Kay, 85, of Ft. Worth, were held Thursday afternoon, June 2, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in the Leonard chapel.  A reception honoring Kay's love of jewelry, fashion and ice cream was held immediately after the service.  Burial was held at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas.
Kay was born in Denison, Texas, daughter of Marie and J.W.T. Erickson and graduated from Denison High School in 1953.  Kay was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ft. Worth and was an active participant in the Easter Star, Chapter 702.  Kay married Virgil E. Cresswell in 1990 and Larry Brown in 1965, both of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Those who knew Kay well knew of her love of fashion and her long affiliation with Burgundies Boutique in Ft. Worth.  Nicknamed "Kay -G o" by those who loved her, she enjoyed music, dancing, the Miss Texas Pageant, travel, art and her membership in the Woman's Club at Ft. Worth.
Surviving are her children, Kevin W. Brown and wife, Cathy; and Karen Brown; grandchildren: Kristin Grey and husband, Gil; and Jordan Manhart, Abigail Brown, Braeden Brown; great-grandchildren, Kylie Grey and Gavin Grey.
