Frances Mae Garner, 87, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Crawford Street Place Assisted Living.
Mrs. Garner was born in Calera, Oklahoma on September 6, 1931,daughter of John and Rachel Manning Coble.  She attended school in Oklahoma through her junior year when she met the love of her life, Arther Garner and they began their life together on November 12, 1949 in Ft. Lewis, Washington.  She was a proud military wife where she worked at the PX on a variety of posts.  After Arther retired, they moved back to Denison in 1971 where she attended classes at Grayson College.  Frances had a love for children and worked at Lark Daycare for several years,.  She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a strong Christian woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish Mrs. Garner's memories are her daughters, Donna Garner LaPee' (Mike Christian) of Louisville, Kentucky; Suzann Garner Montgomery (Dennis) and daughter-in-law Jana Hicks Garnder of Denison, Texas; grandchildren, Maury Garner Cutts (Brandon) and Lindsay Garner Thompson of Edmond, Oklahoma; Alyssa Reedy, Taylor Reedy, Trever Montgomery, Callin Rosenow and Dalen Rosenow, all of Denison, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Riley Degraffenreid, Hayden Thompson and Jace Thompson, all of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Jaxon Hale of Denison, Texas; brothers, Calvin Coble (LaWayne) of Achille, Oklahoma; Doyle Norris of Sherman, Texas; Larry Norris, Jimmy Norris (Mary Dean); and sisters, Mildred Coble Payne, June Norris Earl and sister-in-law, Jean Coble, all of Ector, Texas.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband; son, Stephen E. Garner; parents; Rachel and John Coble; step-father, Dan Norris; brother, William John Coble; sister, Eunice Milner; and brothers-in-law Roland Earl, Jeryl Payne and Alfred Milner.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, July 16, 2019 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.  Private Interment was held in Fairview Cemetery.
