Former Resident of City Dies At Honey Grove

Mrs. Francis L. Riddle, 78, of Honey Grove, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Collard there at 10:05 p.m.
Tuesday, following a six month illness. Mrs. Riddle was a former Denisonian, having lived here for several years prior
to her marriage to Martin L. Riddle, Sept. 6, 1884.
Mrs. Riddle was born at Boswell, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Knaur, Sept. 23, 1857, where she was born,
reared and educated, later moving to  Denison fifty years ago where she med and married Mr. Riddle. She was active in
church work and was a member of the Maccabees here.
Her remains were shipped to Denison for services at 10:30 Thursday morning at the Short-Murray chapel, Rev. S. M. Black
officiating. Short Murray will direct.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl L. Johnson of Bonham and Mrs. William Collard of Honey Grove; and one sister, Miss Stella Knaur of Denison.
Burial will be made at Fairview cemetery.
