DENISON, Texas, Feb 10. - Benjamin J. Parker, 68, pastor of the Mirick Avenue Church of Christ, died Monday at his home. He had lived here forty-four years. Besides preaching, Mr. Parker operated a dairy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday with burial at Fairview. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Dovie Fowler, whom he married at Sherman in 1900; a daughter, Mrs. Jess Savage, and a granddaughter, Mae Lawrence Savage, all of Denison, and a brother, Billie Parker of Millport, Ala.
Born at Jackson, Miss., March 16, 1872, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Parker, he moved with his family to Millport, where he began school, completing his work at the college at Bonham. He came to Denison in 1896.
