CAR VICTIM, MOSE MALLOY, LOSES
HIS FIGHT, DIES SUNDAY

Mose Maloy, 53, died at a local hospital at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, following an injury received when he was struck by an auto in the 200 block Woodard street recently. He had been in the hospital for a period of eight days.
Born in Collin county, July 19, 1882, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Maloy, he grew to young manhood in that county. His schooling was received in the county in which he was born. Leaving that county at 20 years of age, he settled in Kemp, Okla., where he engaged in the grocery business.
Twelve years ago, he came to this city and engaged in the grocery business, also conducting a service station, both of which were at Shepherd and Armstrong. He also conducted a business at Carpenters' Bluff. Later he engaged in the wholesale produce business.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ethel Maloy of this city, also two sons and two daughters. The sons are T. L. and Wallace Maloy of this city. The daughters are Mrs. Marie Simmons and Miss Edith Maloy of this city.
Two brothers, John and Jake, reside at Ardmore. One sister, Mrs. C. G. Stout, lives at Ardmore and another, Mrs. Dollie Black, lives in Arkansas.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Paul Southern, Monday at 2 o'clock at the Short-Murray chapel, with interment at Fairview. Short-Murray will direct.
