August 21 1887: Another of A.R. Williams' children died last Wednesday morning, making the third in less than a week.
This fearful mortality in the family has well-nigh demented the unhappy parents.

Mrs. Corda Williams
Dies, Burial Friday

Funeral for Mrs. Corda B. Williams Sr., 73, who died Wednesday at 5 p.m. in a Sherman Hospital will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Bratcher Chapel.
Rev. Walter Underwood, Waples Methodist pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 8:30 o'clock.
Born Grace Day in Denison Nov. 12, 1889, she attended local schools and married Corda Williams June 13, 1918, here. She was a Methodist and lived at 2390 Juanita. Mrs. Williams was employed by Perkins Brothers store many years ago.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Corda B. Jr. and Norman E. Williams, both of Denison; and eight grandchildren.
