A resident of Denison 27 years, Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Watson, 82, died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday at her Dripping Springs home after an illness of 3 and a half months.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today at Dripping Springs with Rev. L.R. Lamb officiating, assisted by Rev. W.R. Thompson of Colbert.  Interment was at Fairview, Short-Murray directing.  Pallbearers were Wayland Watson, Darnel
Watson, Arville Watson, Gordon Moad, Harold Hennen and Norman Watson, all grandchildren of the deceased.
She was born January 21, 1959 [sic] in Anderson county, South Carolina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Wilson and married B.S. Watson, a farmer, May 22, 1881 in Anderson county, accompanying him to Dripping Springs.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are 4 sons, Wilton, Murrel and Wertie of Dripping Springs, and Bascom of San Angelo; 3 daughters, Mrs. Mittie Owens of Williamston, South Carolina; Mrs. Kate Woods of Dallas; and Mrs. Nema Jermon of Dallas; 2 brothers, Julius
and Robert Wilson of Anderson county; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
