Following an illness of 5 days, Mrs. Grace Van Winkle, 37, died at a local hospital Saturday night.  She had made her home in Denison for 12 years.  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Short-Murray chapel with arrangements in charge of Short-Murray.
Born April 29, 1905, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Boone.  She was married at Durant to John Van Winkle.
Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, residing in Houston and California.  Three brothers are Dr. Oliver Boone and Roy Boone of Lubbock, Texas; and Wayland Boone of Sprindale, Arkansas.  A sister, Mrs. Vera Madry, lives at Arlington, Texas.
