Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Jenny Scheid, 94 years of age, and a resident of Denison for 67 years, who died at the home of her son, O.B. Scheid, 627 W. Monterrey Tuesday after 6 weeks of illness.  Rev. Ed Bayless officiated at the service and interment was in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Scheid was born in Marion, Alabama, October 10, 1859, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Berry Newnum.  She was married in Whitesboro in 1883 to John Scheid.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the Pythian Sisters.
Survivors include one son, O.B. Scheid of Denison; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Scheid's home is at 1023 w.Chestnut.
