Funeral services were conducted here this week for Mrs. Nannie L. Byers, 511 W. Chestnut, who died Saturday after an illness of two years.  She had resided 37 years in Denison, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Hill.  Her schooling
was in the Rockdale public schools and the Methodist Women's College, Waco.  She was married in December 1905 at Hillsboro and to the union one son survives, John W. Byers, with the U.S. Army at Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Sisters surviving are Mrs. Walter Moore, Houston; Mrs. Charles Patterson, Hollywood; and Mrs. G.F. West, Cleburne, besides one grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday from the Presbyterian church with the pastor, Rev. James E. Spivey, officiating, followed by interment in Fairview.
