Graveside services were held at Fairview cemetery Wednesday at 2 p.m. for Charles Deffebach, 81, former owner of the now Burton-Lingo Lumber Company.  Rev. Duke Barron, pastor of Waples Memorial Methodist Church, officiated and interment was under the direction of Norman Bratcher Funeral Home.  Funeral services were held in Tyler.
Mr. Deffebach died at his home in Tyler Monday, April 27 at 7:10 a.m., where he had lived since selling the lumber company here in 1931.
Deceased was born on a ranch near Denver, Colorado, June 7, 1872, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Deffebach.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are his widow, Lillie Deffebach of Tyler; a son, Dan Deffebach of Tyler; a son, Dan Deffebach of Tyler; a sister, Miss Annie Deffebach of Covina, California; and one granddaughter.
