Denison - Marguerite R. Thomas, 99, of Denison died Wednesday, July 14, 2004 in Dallas.  Services were held Saturday Afternoon, July 17, 2005 in the chapel at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Jim Bowden officiating.  Burial followed at Fairview
Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born on February 4, 1905 in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Oliver M. and Belle Williams Rutherford. She was a member of Waples Memorial United Methodist Church.  She worked in retail sales.
Pallbearers were Kelton Skipper, Byron Meek, Bradley Meek, Paul Pickering, David Halm and Matthew Meek.
Surviving are one son, David Thomas of Dallas, Texas; 4 daughters, Diane Skipper of New Braunfels, Texas; Dorothy Holder and husband, Jack, of Hurst, Texas; Delane Pickering of Kingwood, Texas; and Dell Halm and husband, Kleo, of New Braunfels, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
