Denison - Military graveside service for Walter M. "Sonny" Chandler, Jr., 53, who died Tuesday morning were conducted
by the American Legion at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery.  The Rev. Tony Salisbury officiated.  Johnson-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Chandler was born December 7, 1932 in Denison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Melvin Chandler.
He attended Denison schools, was a member of the American Legion, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his mother, Gertrude Thomas of Denison; two sons, Scott and Dale of Denison; daughter, Debbie Lane of Denison; and six grandchildren.
