Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Ann Platt, who died at a local hospital Tuesday morning early.  Rev. Guy Newman officiated at the funeral, and interment was at Fairview.  Bratcher-Moore directed the services.
Born in Butler, Kentucky, she came to Denison as a little girl and spent the rest of her life here.  Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. James W. Turnpaugh.
Surviving are a brother, W.S. Turnpaugh, of Wynette, Oklahoma; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Daisy Cunningham and Mrs. Jessie Trimmer, both of this city.
