 Maurice F. Brodie, 59 years old, a steamfitter, died at his home,  502 East Parnell street at 12:10 o'clock this morning of
complications after a  long illness.
Mr. Brodie was born February 28, 1871, in Wisconsin, son of J.M. and Bertha Fazard Brodie.  Thirteen years ago he came here from McAlester, Oklahoma, and was married to Miss Cora Riddle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Riddle, 1224 West Morton street.  They returned to McAlester for a year, then came to Denison where they made their home ever since. 
He is survived by his wife only.
Funeral will be held from the home of his father-in-law, 1334 West Morton street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Rev. W.C. Hearon will officiate.  The Swank Undertaking Company will have charge of the funeral.
