DEATH OF MRS. CLARA RAGLAND
Tuesday night between 12 and 1 o'clock at the family home, No. 521 West Gandy street, occurred the death of Mrs. Clara
D. Ragland, wife
of Engineer Ragland.  Mrs. Ragland's health had not been good for several years but until a few days since she has been able to be up and about continuously.   Tuesday night when the end came she was surrounded by family and friends and the closing of life's drama, if drama it may be called was indeed like one gathering the drapery of night about them and lying down to pleasant dreasm.  Mrs. Ragland was in her 51st year, was a native of Columbia, Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, but before coming to Denison, resided a number of years at Ft. Wayne, Indiana.   Funeral services were
conducted Thursday from the family residence, Pastor Cooper of the Woodard street Methodist Church officiating. The remains were interred in Fairview cemetery.  While in her usual health Mrs. Ragland was a  most active lady and her memberships, not alone with the church but the societies with which she was associated, will long remember her many deeds of kindness and charity.  The family is now composed of Mr. Ragland and 2 daughters, Mabel and Lizzie.
