MRS. MARGARET EMMA FAIRBANKS

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Emma Fairbanks, 85, were held at Bratcher Chapel Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m. Mrs. Minnie Munson Laughlin, Christian Science reader, conducted the service. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Fairbanks, widow of Kirk Fairbanks, Denison mail carrier, died at her home 314 N. Mirick, April 16, after three weeks of illness.
Mrs. Fairbanks was born in Effingham, Ill., June 27, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thompson. Her parents operated the Thompson House in Denison for many years. She had lived in Denison most of her life, attending school here and was married March 29, 1893 to Fairbanks, who died several years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ Scientist.
She is survived by a son, John H. Fairbanks, Denison; a brother, Ed. W. Thompson, Portland, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.
