   
DEATH OF MRS. BECKER A
telegram was received in the city Thursday morning announcing the death
in New York city of Mrs. Richard Becker, wife of Conductor Becker, of
this city. The lady had been in poor health for some time, the result
of a tumor on her neck and had gone to New York with the hope of
securing its removal and ultimate health. An operation was performed,
but the shock was too great, and the lady died soon afterward. Her
remains are en route to Denison for interment.
