Carl Eugene Smith was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 78. He was greeted by his parents, Carl Curtis and Dorothy Elizabeth Smith, his sister Judy Smith and many loved ones who have gone before him.
Carl loved to laugh and his smile was contagious.  His strength and courage were monumental.  His love was constant and never-ending. He never met anyone who didn’t instantly fall in love with his sweet smile and his gentle heart.   Those who love him will carry on and strive to live our lives in his honor, staying strong and spreading love and smiles to all who cross our paths.
He leaves behind his children Stephanie Camarena and Christopher Smith and four grandchildren, Zachary, Samuel and Sydney Camarena, and Collin Smith.  Three brothers, Billy Ray Smith, Dennis Smith, Danny Smith and two sisters, Pat Hagan and Barbara Smith. 
Friends and Family are invited to the viewing to be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 6-8pm with funeral services on Tuesday, February 23 at 10am at Fisher Funeral Home with graveside service at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas.
