Funeral services for Austin B. Wiggins, 61, of Pottsboro were held at Johnson-Moore Chapel Friday afternoon, July 26, at
2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Brown officiating.  Interment was in Fairview cemetery with Johnson-
More directing.
Mr. Wiggins died Tuesday, July 23, at his home after several years of illness.  He was born in Austin October 26, 1897, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Wiggins.  He attended schools in Texas and Arizona, and was married October 12, 1918 in Jamaica, Long Island, New York to Miss Florence Jackson.  He was an oil contractor and a Baptist.  Mr. Wiggins served as a civilian in war work on the Aleutians during World War II.  Mrs. Wiggins does special duty at Madonna hospital.
Survivors are his widow; two sons, James R. Wiggins, Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Richard C. Wiggins, Ardmore,
Oklahoma; a daughter, Mrs. Nick Pomerhauser, Canadian, Texas; and six grandchildren.
