Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Wednesday, October 6, for L.L. Malone, Katy switchman, who died from injuries received in an automobile accident.  Rev. J.F. Ellison officiated and interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Malone lived at 3016 W. Washington.  He was born in Denison November 14, 1910, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Malone.  He attended Layne school and Denison High School, and was married in Madill in 1930 to Mary Scally.
He is survived by his widow; five sons, Jimmy Malone, U.S. Navy; James, Don, Charles and Jerry of Denison; a daughter, Mary Malone of Denison; three brothers, C.B, Frank, and Ruben and a sister, Mrs. Estelle Zumwalt, Ft. Worth.
