Funeral services for J.C. Darr, 69, employee of Coldstream Products, were held Sunday at Funderburk Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest L. Potter officiating.  Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.  Pallbearers were  Hallis Garner, Hobert Anderson, Homer McClung, Hamilton Rusk, John Rains and Roy Cummings.
Mr. Darr died in a local hospital Wednesday December 12 at 3:25 a.m. after a long illness.
Mr. Darr was a native of Huntsville, Missouri.  He was born August 21, 1897, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.S. Darr of Huntsville.  He was a  member of Calvary Baptist church.
Survivors are his father; his wife, Mrs. Fay Todd Darr, 712 W. Hanna; 3 sons, W.... Darr of Denver, Colorado; Bill Darr, stationed in Suez Canal area with the U.S. Navy, and Leslie Darr of Hannibal, Missouri; 2 daughters, Mrs. C.O. Alexander of Kansas City, Missouri; and Miss Peggy Darr of Denison; 2 sisters, Mrs. Roy Fray of Moberly, Missouri; and Mrs. William Wright of Huntsville; and  7 grandchildren.
