Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in Funderburk Funeral Home for LeRoy M. Jackson, 39, of
615 W. Shepherd, who died Wednesday in a local hospital after a 5-day illness.  Rev. William Beall of the South Side Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Fairview cemetery.
Jackson was born in Denison, June 22, 1913, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Jackson.  He received his schooling here.  He was employed as a butcher.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Curtis J. Jackson, Lawton; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Riddle
and Mrs. Viola Jones, both of Denison.
Pallbearers were Tommy Williams, Gene Woods, Albert Barber, Ben Scott, Bill Geath and Clyde Walker.
