Funeral services were held Tuesday at Parkside Baptist church for William Thomas (Jenk) Bothe, 77, of 737 E. Morgan, who died in a local hospital Saturday from injuries received in a automobile accident two weeks previous. Rev. Ronald Prince officiated and interment was in Fairview cemetery with Funderburk Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Bothe was fatally injured in a three car accident on the Pottsboro road on April 11, as he was riding in  a car driven by J. L. Burgin. Mrs. Homer Bothe, a sister-in-law, was also injured and is still a patient at Denison Hospital.
Bothe was born in Moberly, Mo., August 20, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Bothe. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Dolores Bothe; four sons, William and James of Oklahoma City; Robert to Odessa; Norman of Burbank, Cal., and a step-son, J. Y. Wells, of Odessa; two daughters, Marie Wall of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Clodean Lane of Ft. Worth; three brothers, Johnny Bothe, San Diego, and Homer Bothe of Denison; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Kretsinger, Mrs. Helen Freeman and Mrs. Leona Hiser, all of Denison; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
