Funeral services were held at St. Luke's Episcopal church Friday afternoon July 13, for Charles A. Wiler, former resident of Denison, who died at his home in Hyattsville, Maryland, July 6, after a few hours illness.
The Very Rev. David Jones, rector of St. Luke's officiated and interment was in Fairview cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge.
Mr. Wiler was 79 years of age.  He had lived in Denison and Grayson county until 1948.  He was married in 1903 to Stella Hubbard who died in 1948.  He was a retired postal clerk and a member of the Episcopal church.
Survivors are 2 daughters, Miss Thelma Wiler, and Mrs. Morris McCollum, Maryland; 2 brothers-in-law, O.S. Hubbard, Electra; and C.R. Hubbard, Denison; and 2 grandchildren.
